Hi hoomans!

Snickerdoodle here, Chief Wellness Officer, professional tail-wagger, and always ready for whatever comes next.

There’s something about the beginning of a new year that feels like standing at the edge of a trail you haven’t explored yet. You can’t see the whole path, but you know one thing for sure: it’s time to move forward.

That’s what “𝘖𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘈𝘥𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦” means to me.

𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀

Some adventures are obvious like, new places (𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀), new projects, new goals. Others are quieter. They look like choosing a different approach, letting go of what no longer fits, or trusting yourself enough to take the next step without having every answer.

From my favorite spot on the office couch, I’ve learned the most meaningful adventures aren’t about rushing ahead. They’re about being willing to begin again with curiosity, courage, and a little grace.

𝗔 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗗𝗼𝗴

In leadership, the next adventure isn’t about abandoning what you’ve learned. It’s about carrying those lessons forward while staying open to what’s possible. Strong leaders pause before they leap. They reflect before they redirect and bring others along with clarity and care, 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙗𝙮 𝙥𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙝.

Every new chapter whether it’s a new year, a new role, or a new way of thinking, is an invitation to grow.

𝗔 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀

You don’t need the whole journey mapped out. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to be willing to take the next step. So, here’s my Snickerdoodle encouragement for the days ahead:

• Stay curious

• Be brave enough to try

• Be kind to yourself along the way

And when it’s time… on to the next adventure. I’ll be ready. Tail wagging. Just say the word (“Walk” works especially well.)

Onward together with tails up and open hearts,

𝗦𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲
