Hi hooman friends,
Itās me, Snickerdoodle, your Chief Wellness Officer, back with another tail-wagging truth for Fun Friday.
Letās talk about⦠dog doody and change.
Yep. You heard me. Every week, a very suspicious crew shows up at my yard and TAKES. MY. STUFF.
Not just any stuff. ššŗ stuff. The stuff I carefully curated and deposited with intention. I worked hard for that! And every week, poof, gone.
And let me tell you, I šš°š“š¦ š®šŗ š®šŖšÆš„ barking at them. Itās personal.
Strangely, I donāt react this way to the mailman or the Amazon driver. Or even the neighborās cat.
But those Doody Be Gone people? Theyāre š®š°š·šŖšÆšØ š®šŗ cheese in a big way.
Hereās what Iāve realized: sometimes, we get attached to what we leave behind, even when itās no longer serving us (gross, but true). When someone comes to clean things up, make things better, or shift the environment, it feels like loss. Or threat. Or disrespect.
But really? Itās growth.
šš²š®š±š²šæš, šš®šøš² š»š¼šš²:
When change happens, especially when it involves āmovingā things people feel š°šøšÆš¦š³š“š©šŖš± over such as old processes, projects, routines, or even unspoken norms, expect some barking. Maybe even some growling.
Itās not always about whatās being removed. Itās about what it š³š¦š±š³š¦š“š¦šÆšµš“.
So next time your team resists a cleanup, a reset, or a shift, donāt just bulldoze through.
š£š®ššš². šš°šøš»š¼šš¹š²š±š“š² ššµš² š¹š¼šš. šš»šš¶šš² š½š²šæšš½š²š°šš¶šš². š¢š³š³š²šæ š°š¹š®šæš¶šš. šš»š± š¹š²š®š± ššµš² š°šµš®š»š“š² šš¶ššµ š²šŗš½š®ššµš.
I may never stop barking at the Doody crew. But Iām learning that maybe, just maybe, theyāre helping me create space for something better.
Tail wags and cheese snacks,
š¦š»š¶š°šøš²šæš±š¼š¼š±š¹š²
