Hi hooman friends,

It’s me, Snickerdoodle, your Chief Wellness Officer, back with another tail-wagging truth for Fun Friday.

Let’s talk about… dog doody and change.

Yep. You heard me. Every week, a very suspicious crew shows up at my yard and TAKES. MY. STUFF.

Not just any stuff. š˜”š˜ŗ stuff. The stuff I carefully curated and deposited with intention. I worked hard for that! And every week, poof, gone.

And let me tell you, I š˜š˜°š˜“š˜¦ š˜®š˜ŗ š˜®š˜Ŗš˜Æš˜„ barking at them. It’s personal.

Strangely, I don’t react this way to the mailman or the Amazon driver. Or even the neighbor’s cat.

But those Doody Be Gone people? They’re š˜®š˜°š˜·š˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜®š˜ŗ cheese in a big way.

Here’s what I’ve realized: sometimes, we get attached to what we leave behind, even when it’s no longer serving us (gross, but true). When someone comes to clean things up, make things better, or shift the environment, it feels like loss. Or threat. Or disrespect.

But really? It’s growth.

š—Ÿš—²š—®š—±š—²š—暝˜€, š˜š—®š—øš—² š—»š—¼š˜š—²:

When change happens, especially when it involves ā€œmovingā€ things people feel š˜°š˜øš˜Æš˜¦š˜³š˜“š˜©š˜Ŗš˜± over such as old processes, projects, routines, or even unspoken norms, expect some barking. Maybe even some growling.

It’s not always about what’s being removed. It’s about what it š˜³š˜¦š˜±š˜³š˜¦š˜“š˜¦š˜Æš˜µš˜“.

So next time your team resists a cleanup, a reset, or a shift, don’t just bulldoze through.

š—£š—®š˜‚š˜€š—². š—”š—°š—øš—»š—¼š˜„š—¹š—²š—±š—“š—² š˜š—µš—² š—¹š—¼š˜€š˜€. š—œš—»š˜ƒš—¶š˜š—² š—½š—²š—暝˜€š—½š—²š—°š˜š—¶š˜ƒš—². š—¢š—³š—³š—²š—æ š—°š—¹š—®š—暝—¶š˜š˜†. š—”š—»š—± š—¹š—²š—®š—± š˜š—µš—² š—°š—µš—®š—»š—“š—² š˜„š—¶š˜š—µ š—²š—ŗš—½š—®š˜š—µš˜†.

I may never stop barking at the Doody crew. But I’m learning that maybe, just maybe, they’re helping me create space for something better.

Tail wags and cheese snacks,
